Kevin has more than 25 years of experience managing assets on behalf of high-net-worth and institutional clients. He has advised sophisticated clients on complex strategies to maximize investment returns while minimizing risk and taxes. As a Chief Investment Officer, Kevin oversees the entire investment process. This includes evaluating economic and financial market conditions to set asset allocation targets, and then structuring client portfolios.
In his most recent role, Kevin served as CIO at Hutchinson Capital Management, a San Francisco Bay Area advisory firm where he managed $600 million on behalf of wealthy families and foundations. Prior to this, he worked for nine years as a portfolio manager at Cheyne Capital Management, a London-based multi-strategy hedge fund with $10 billion in assets under management.
His extensive experience as a capital allocator brings expertise in managing portfolios through multiple market cycles. For two decades, Kevin worked as a portfolio manager at large global hedge funds. In this role, he managed long-short portfolios of equities, high yield bonds, commodities, derivatives, and private equity. His past clients include high-net-worth families, institutions, and sovereign wealth funds.
Kevin currently resides in Mill Valley, California with his wife of 25 years and their three daughters. Both Kevin and his wife are active triathletes and enjoy scuba diving, skiing, and cycling. (Great last name, no relation to Joe).
